Radio Hub Central Goes Live!

New Website Allows Canadian Broadcasters to ‘Get Informed, Get Connected and Get Ahead’

(March 7, 2007) – Radio Hub Central (RHC) is a new Web site designed exclusively for Canadian radio broadcasters. In development for nearly a year, RHC’s goal is to help Canadian broadcasters network, share ideas, discuss industry-related issues and remain informed.

RHC’s uniqueness lies in the features the site offers. RHC hosts an online community for its radio industry membership. Like other social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, etc.), RHC provides an instant messenger service, a live chat feature and even allows members to create personal profile pages – but RHC is exclusively for Canadian broadcasters. On their profile pages, members can post photos, maintain blogs, start polls and even upload audio to showcase their talent.

“Radio is a close-knit community, but Canada is a huge country so it’s tough to network within the industry,” says Liann Cameron, of SONiC 102.9FM in

Edmonton, Alberta. “Radio Hub Central bridges those geographical gaps by using an online community just for us.”

The site also boasts a newsroom featuring radio-related news. The Radio Hub Central Newsroom is the place to find breaking industry news.

Read about:

Stay “tuned in” by subscribing to RHC’s Newsroom alerts and you’ll instantly be notified of any breaking industry news.

In addition, RHC lists Canadian radio job postings. RHC allows potential employers to screen candidates directly through the site and potential employees are aware of the newest job openings.

“Finding the right person, at the right time, in the right place… is never easy,” says Scott Broderick, GM Newcap Radio Ottawa. “With actual audio samples available on-line, RadioHubCentral.com should become a daily habit for busy radio professionals.”Contact Information:
